Shortcut to Europe / London Losers

This is the fifth episode of Total Drama Space, the tenth season of the series. It is also the 222nd overall, and features two segments put into one whole episode. The first part, a race to Europe, and the second part, a challenge in London.

Summary

Part 1

The remaining 18 contestants then start off in the province of Quebec, but Chris then tells them that they are off to the European continent. However, there is a challenge... they cannot use planes, trains, or automobiles... instead they will only use snowmobiles and boats. They first race North to the Hudson Strait and then board a boat that takes them to Greenland. Once in Greenland, they head East until they reach the ocean again, and once again they board another boat that takes them to Iceland. The racers then go around Iceland until they reach one last boat, that soon takes them past the Faroe Islands and into Scotland. Now that they are in the UK and finally in Europe, they are allowed to use cars to race South into London.

Part 2

Now in London, their challenge is to retrieve five flags from each of the five locations that Chef hid the flags in: the Big Ben, the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, and the Olympic Stadium. The teams then race off to get the flags and it is the TV Rivals who get the flags first, therefore winning the challenge. Katie and Sadie are the last two to get the flags, so they get last place and face elimination. Since this is the first elimination that does not involve the teams staying behind, then the winners are allowed to vote for the loser. The TV Rivals choose Sadie to take the boot, so Katie is left alone. The remaining 17 contestants then head off to France for the next episode.
